Action Synergy, Greece

 

Action Synergy is an education, training and knowledge- based applications organization which is actively involved in the development of education technologies, training methodologies and the development of e-learning training courses. It is an expert in the management and implementation of European projects in the field of education, culture and training.

Action Synergy’s key areas of expertise include: Evaluation of projects, measurement of project’s impact and relevance, dissemination and promotion of projects, development of learning methodologies, Development of educational technologies, Development of courses and modules making use of innovative methodologies such as: open/flexible learning methodologies, e-learning, learning needs analysis, development of synergies at local, national and transnational level. Action Synergy will be assisting UOWM in project management, along with WLC and have an essential role in dissemination and evaluation.

TEAM

Kostas Diamantis - Balaskas

Kostas Diamantis – Balaskas (b. 1982) is a project manager and adult trainer. He holds a BA in Communications and Media from Panteion University and an MSc in European Politics & Government from the London School of Economics. He works from 2006 in the coordination of European transnational cooperation projects in the fields of education and training. He has been involved in the implementation of more than 100 Europena projects mainly in the framework of Erasmus+ and Creative Europe programs. He is focused on the issues of social inclusion, community empowerment and innovation in education through the Arts. 

He is the project manager of WALC on behalf of Action Synergy and responsible for the project internal evaluation.

Le Ngoc Xuan Mai

Le Ngoc Xuan Mai graduated from Vietnam National University, majoring in Business English in 2015. After that, she followed her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management at Mediterranean College, Greece. Mai is experienced in international voluntary services as a coordinator and as a volunteer herself. Currently, she is a communication and program officer at Action Synergy, Greece.

She is a member of the website design team of WALC project.

Mary Marinopoulou

Mary Marinopoulou (b. 1989) is an audiovisual installation artist and curator. She holds a BA in Theatre Studies from the University of Peloponnese and an MA in Photography and Mediated Arts from Vilnius Academy of Arts. Her work focuses on audiovisual installations and curatorial projects that blend projections with dreamlike reality. Key curatorial projects include Mortality Check (2019) in Lithuania and Different Worlds (2019) in Slovenia. Mary is particularly interested in using walking as a tool for community projects, transformative travel, and ecological exploration.

She is the communications manager of WALC
