ACTIVITIES

Activities are realized as a collaborative body of work, including

• Two central art encounters (in a blended form of encounters, residencies and conferences)in Prespa, Greece for a broad audience, and with international artistic participation in 2025 and in 2027.
• A happening in Brussels – Gaasbeek in 2026
• An exhibition about walking arts in Greece in 2027 
• Activities in international and external NODES (collectives and groups of artists, selected via an open call) during the encounters, extending to a Europe wide and global network of walking arts 
• Workshops with various audiences in Greece, France, Spain, Portugal and in Belgium 
• Training for artists and cultural professionals in the run up of activities,  residencies, encounters and exhibitions. 
• Art processes and residencies in Greece, France, Spain, Portugal and in Belgium leading to new artworks presented at the encounters, exhibitions and online
• Online events complementing the encounters and the exhibitions, and an online art venue / art platform. 

All the activities are organized with a focus on co-creation and co-producing with local communities, while establish an offline and online platform for international and interdisciplinary communication between artists and communities, and communities between each other, isolated in natural and rural environments, engaging wider audience and to draw attention to natural and rural areas, ecological awareness and slower living via contemporary arts inspired by walking.
